So I didn't get my dues paid by May 31st, what can I do?
Well for now you are a member not in good standing!
- Members "not in good standing" can not participate or collect on Queen of Hearts, Monthly Signup, Daily Signup or Sunday Signup
- as per Section 71.9 of the Grand Aerie Articles of Incorporation Constitution and Statutes:
- A member whose dues are not paid in advance, as herein provided, shall be non-beneficial for all purposes, and shall not be permitted to hold or remain in office, to attend meetings, or social rooms of the Aerie, or to make use of any of its facilities, or to receive any sick or funeral benefits or to receive the services of the Aerie Physician.
- Last year the Grand Aerie changed the grace period to 30 days past (June 30). If you are in the Grace Period - you are "not in good standing.
- If dues are paid during the grace period the member would not have to re-enroll ($10 fee for Aerie and $15 fee for Auxiliary) and would immediately become a member in good standing!
